Treasurer's Report:

Mr. Boggs distributed the Treasurer’s Report. He explained that the report would reflect last month’s bills. He said LAAC has a total balance of $93,916.90 and $84,129.54 is in the Hydrilla CD which LAAC is not touching, but is spending some of the interest from time to time. He said LAAC has $9,787.36 in the checking account. Mr. Boggs said since the last time he submitted the report, he had paid $130.70 to reimburse Steve Falkenthal for Rainbow Graphics doing two 20” triangles at $82.00 a piece and paid for gas in his boat two times. He said he paid $165.00 to Rainbow Graphics for the two 20” triangles and $66.00 for the ad in the Lake Anna Observer and $77.60 to The Central Virginian for the Town Hall meeting for a total expense of $439.30. Mr. Bogg said the hydrilla account was invested with BB&T bank in Mineral and he reinvested it on January 6, 2009 at 4.58%, which was the best he could find at that time and it would draw that for 10 months. He said all the bills that have been presented to him have been paid and he didn’t know of anything else at the time.
